As a society, we have become attached to social media to achieve our happiness. This happiness is false happiness. People use social media to portray themselves as someone they are not in a way to find gratification in life. Instead of seeking happiness from within and there own accomplishments they find happiness from the approval and opinions of others. This show titled “We Happy Few” is meant to highlight this. Each work was picked to force the viewer to look within and decide if their happiness is true or false. Only a few of us are actually happy in this world, in modern society people have become like zombies mindlessly following the masses to achieve some form of approval.
