Show concept: Being Frank is an exhibition all about being honest with yourself and being honest within the works you create. “Honestly is the best policy” I was told growing up. For me I’m someone that has to be myself, I can’t pretend to be something I’m not because if I do it will eat me up inside. Others can go through this world wearing so many masks they even forget which is the original. Let’s not forget social media, which makes it even easier for people to portray themselves as completely different. All of this causes such a blur between what’s real and what’s not. As we move forward into this year I hope we can all be more honest about who we are and what we plan to do with this precious life we have.
