Lee Piechocki

Artist Bio: Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1980, Lee Piechocki lives and works in Los Angeles. He spent formative painting years in Chicago and Kansas City before receiving his MFA in
painting from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015.
Piechocki’s work was recently acquired by the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art
(Overland Park, KS 2020), shown at the Museum of Museums (Seattle, WA 2021) and
selected by Ana Katz, Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles to be
featured in issue 151 of New American paintings (2021). Most recently his work was
included in The Innerworld of The Outerworld of The Innerworld, a group exhibition at
Soy Capitan Gallery in Berlin in 2022, and his solo show, A Dark Little Landscape
Show, at Reynolds Gallery in Richmond, VA in 2023.
