Artist Bio: Zachary Joshua Jamir, better known by his street name, “Bayawak” is a visual artist based in Imus, Cavite. He is a core member of the street art/urban art collective Cavity Collective. Deeply fascinated by animals and the natural world as a whole, he translates experiences and memories into whimsical depictions of animals, plants, and all sorts of otherworldly entities. His works are heavily influenced by pop culture, esotericism and mysticism.
